Involvement
- 5 of the last 8 Student Government Association (SGA) Presidents have been members of Sigma Chi, including current President Lee Hopf.
- The chapter has 4 brothers currently serving as Student Representatives on the Student Government Association (most represented fraternity on the SGA).
- The chapter currently has 3 brothers serving as members of the Birmingham-Southern Honor Council (most represented fraternity on the Council).
- The chapter currently has 6 Southern Ambassadors, who introduce prospective students to Birmingham-Southern.
- 1993 Organization of the Year (the only Greek organization to win this award in recent history).
- Two of the four House Directors of Men’s Dorms are Sigma Chi.
- 2009-2010 Intramural Sports Cup Champions.

- Derby Days, out annual week long philanthropy project, raised over $5,800 towards charity in March of 2010 and over $11,000 in February of 2011.
